SIGUR ROS-HEIMA

Heima was allready released last year sometime...November, if I'm not mistaking. Eventually after having bought the accompanying album and having heard other people ranging from friends to co-forum dorks getting overly excited about it, I decided to finally invest in it and just order it over the internet as every time I heard one of the many underground music shops stocked it I got there too late...

Heima is a great investment if you're into Sigur Ros, and is something that even people who aren't avid Sigur Ros supporters may enjoy! This is due to it not only focussing on the band touring Iceland (their hometown), but also on the Icelandic scenery and people. The dvd consists of a documentary, which shows the band touring across the country and playing free shows at unusual places, including old abandoned factories or just in the open Icelandic outdoors. What makes this dvd such an experience, is the experience of quality, as whilst one is watching it the quality of the shots and the content, as the documentary is approached in a very artistic manner. It is one of the first music dvd’s that is not just about the strain of touring, the tense process of recording and the basic live performances at the end, but offers more than a band dvd usually guarantees to…

Here is an external link to a source where the dvd is streamed…

Have a look to get the idea and then order it!
