//SO MANY COWBOYS, SO FEW INDIANS.
Friday after work, when i'm vegging in front of my computer in a somnambulist state, slurping my already cold again coffee, I post something on my blog. Today I htought i'd just post a picture my friend Maike (www.welovepictures.co.za) took of me yesterday.It was great fun playing indian on an old abandoned tennis court.
That's pretty much what i'm about:).Well captured mater!
Please do take a minute to check out her blog for some more rad photos here!

//SOME OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS.
I think determining who ones favourite artist/artwork is, would be close to impossible for any creatively inclined person, or rather anyone who takes an interest in art.I thought about this the other day and decided to try pin down at least my top ten favourite artworks...Ofcourse this is subject to change frequently.Yet, here are some of my current favourites for those who care:
TERENCE KOH-VITRINES
TERENCE KOH-BLACK DRUMS
TERENCE KOH-"THESE DECADES WE NEVER SLEEP"
FOLKERT DE JONG (GREAT DUTCH ARTIST)
CAI GUO-XIANG-Inopportune (artist also works with gunpowder)
ERNESTO NETO (great in general)
BANKS VIOLETTE -(art based on doom band Sunn O))) )
YUKINORI YANAGI- (ant farm-sand with pigment)

//SIGGI EGGERTSON! What an innovative designer. Siggi's style is definitely distinctive and captues something extremely uniqe, that makes it immediately recognisable.Eggertson originates from the land of milk and honey...yes, that would be Iceland.He has designed various pretty recognisable album covers, including eminent artists such as Gnarls Barkley.another interesting fact about Siggi is that he is still quite young (1984!) considering his success. Eggertson ontained his education at the Reykjavík School of art, and later located to Berlin, where he now resides. His work does not restrict itself to graphics, but even extends to quilt making with a graphic edge! please give him a minute of your time, as it is worth it! click here to check out his website. here is some of his work:
Berlin
Wolf
Medals (for Stüssy)
Coulourful Dream

//Maybe it's the drukqs?
Whilst going through my images i found an hilarious one that I thought i'd have to share.I've also been listening to Aphex Twin again lately, especially the album Drukqs.It is rumoured that the title DRUKQS which when spoken sounds similar to "drug use" has something to do with the sound.Yet, either way..great album and awesome musician! Hence the suitable image:
